Name: Miss Daisy Dumas (AKA “Missy”)
Breed: Breed Tennessee Walking Horse
Age: 12 (DOB: May 27, 2004)
Height: Approx 14.3hh
Missy came in to rescue very emaciated, and has been slow to rehab. Missy is broke to ride, and needs a confident intermediate rider or better right now. Missy’s adopter will also need to realize that she is not an easy keeper and needs a solid feed schedule. Missy has been ridden in on her foster farm, at an arena, and on multiple trail rides since in rescue. She is much more comfortable on a trail out of those places. She tends to be nervous and fast paced at home and in an arena, but is much calmer and truly happy on the trails. She’s crossed logs, water, rode in cattle, is not bothered by dogs, and is not mare-ish at all. She loads great and backs off the trailer. She is nervous for the farrier, but does stand and does not require sedation. Missy is a great trail horse and is truly a steal at $300.
